We said farewell and a huge thank you in school at a recent celebration. School librarian Susan Elliott is stepping down this year after having spent the last 12 years helping pupils at Faithlegg develop a love for books.
Susan has been part of our school for 16 years, beginning first as a member of the school Parents Association. The work, the time and especially the care Susan has given is magnificent.
When the job as librarian at Faithlegg evolved with the building of our new library in 2011, Susan together with the Parents Association enjoyed the opportunity to purchase new book collections and shelving. Susan is responsible for cataloging, organising and managing our collections of books and resources to date.
To celebrate Susan’s service we organised a surprise farewell in the hall with gifts, flowers and a cake.
