Monday morning and we are off…………….
What a great welcome!
Our objectives are to build friendships and connections through collaboration with our host school in Spain and develop ideas for projects. The children produced a short introductory video about our school and the area of Cheekpoint, Faithlegg and Passage East. They then got to know about our partners and their community and took part in various planned school activities such as Spanish games and sports and a trip to the local stream to look at the biodiversity of the area and the similarities/differences between Galicia and South East Ireland.
We also got to walk part of the ‘Camino’
We look forward to welcoming our friends from Sigüeiro – at the end of May beginning of June.
